Upcoming rocket launches and weather verdicts

Every scheduled orbital launch on Earth, with an independent weather verdict for its launch pad: GO, CAUTION or NO-GO.

What is the next rocket launch, and will the weather allow it?

The next launch is Crew-13 on a Falcon 9 Block 5 from Cape Canaveral SFS, FL, USA, scheduled for Thu, 01 Oct 2026 15:10:06 UTC. Rocket Assessor's independent verdict for Crew-13 is GO (82/100): weather looks favourable for launch at Cape Canaveral SFS, FL, USA. The main factor is heavy cloud cover.

Track record: across 60 resolved launches, directional verdicts (GO / NO-GO) matched the outcome 67% of the time. Every verdict is frozen 24 hours before launch, and the full record, including the misses, is at rocketassessor.com/accuracy.

How is the weather verdict calculated?

Each launch starts at 100 points and loses points for weather at the pad at the launch hour, using the Open-Meteo forecast: sustained wind (18 kn and up), gusts (40 kn and up), cloud cover (60% and up), chance of precipitation (30% and up) and thunderstorm energy (CAPE of 1,000 J/kg and up). 75–100 is GO, 50–74 is CAUTION, below 50 is NO-GO. Launches more than 16 days out show PENDING until a forecast exists.

Is this the official go/no-go?

No. Rocket Assessor is independent and not affiliated with any launch provider or range. Official launch commit criteria are vehicle-specific and not public; this is an indicative weather assessment you can check against the public accuracy record.
